Associate in Health Sciences/Medical Administrative Assistant Degree Program Ultimate Medical Academy’s Medical Administrative Assistant Associate program can be completed in as few as 18 months and prepares you to manage the day-to-day operations of a busy medical practice. In addition to a complementary curriculum of general education and elective courses, students in the Medical Administrative Assistant Associate program will train to:

  • Learn medical transcription software used in the field.

Associate degree program graduates may have greater earning potential, immediately or over time, as well as, potential increases in employment opportunities. Opportunities for Medical Administrative Assistants are available at hospitals, doctor’s offices, outpatient clinics and other healthcare facilities.

Medical Administrative Assistant Associate program students also prepare to sit for the Certified Medical Administrative Assistant Specialist (CMAS) exam.
