Former Massachusetts Governor Jane Swift is an experienced board member and executive, with expertise in education and technology gained from both her public and private sector positions. Ms. Swift served for 15 years in state government, including as Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Secretary of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation, and State Senator in Massachusetts. She also serves on the boards of several organizations and has a background working with innovative educational providers. She was CEO of Middlebury Interactive Languages from 2011 to 2017. Ms. Swift served for a decade as a Distinguished Visiting Lecturer in Leadership Studies at Williams College. She received her undergraduate degree from Trinity College and holds several honorary doctorate degrees for her work.
