If you spend time around Anthony, you might start seeing double—literally, because he has a twin brother. And he’s so efficient at talent acquisition that his manager would swear there’s two of him. Anthony interviews applicants, analyzes their work history and ensures the best possible fit for every position.
Cornell Bennett is a Talent Acquisition Partner at Ultimate Medical Academy. He’s been recruiting for four years and previously found great candidates in the mortgage and staffing industries. He can relate to many of UMA’s graduates, too, because he’s the first generation to graduate from college on his father’s side. Cornell was born in New York but spent most of his time in Tampa, with a 3-year stop in Dallas, Texas.
Desmond has more than 15 years of talent acquisition experience in both the public and private sector, including Fortune 500 companies. He has a passion for photography, which has helped him develop a great eye for talent and placement.
Sue Leggett works as a Corporate Recruiter at UMA. She helps find awesome candidates for our Academic, Admissions, and Career Services roles. In her spare time, she loves to hike and hang out with her sons. Once, she even had lunch at the top of Austrian Alps.
Maria has two loves: corporate talent acquisition and musical theater. Well, also her family and her Siberian husky. Maria has years of experience in staffing and education—and in belting out show tunes at the top of her lungs.
Denisha has more than five years of experience in admissions and talent acquisition. She grew up in Germany with a drill sergeant father, so she knows how to whip great candidates into shape. When she’s not working on talent acquisition, she’s channeling her competitive spirit into sports. Now drop and give her 50.
Jill finds qualified candidates the way she shops: with great enthusiasm. She’s been a team member since 2013 and specializes in finding talent quickly and efficiently, like it’s the last day of a big sale.
Fabiola Uribe is a Talent Acquisition Administrator at UMA. She helps figure out the paperwork and onboarding process so rock star hires can jump right in. She’s passionate about reading, and she has two cats, collectively named JZ. Fabiola was born and raised in San Jose, Costa Rica, and she moved to Tampa at age 12.
Jayme Jones is a Talent Coordinator, Operations at UMA. New to the Talent Acquisition industry, Jayme brings retail management skills to the table, and currently provides support to UMA’s Talent Partners during the recruiting process. She’s currently studying Business Psychology at USF and running a cupcake business on the side. Don’t let her sweet nature fool you though, Jayme is also a competitive powerlifter, and aspires to enter national competitions in the future.
One of the most listed skills on resumes is “an attention to details”. So there’s no doubt that details are important, and that is where Elizabeth shines. Her job is to make sure everything runs smoothly so that our team can focus on placements. When she isn’t setting up travel for clients, she loves to set it up for herself.
