So, with the coursework of a Medical Assistant student at UMA, I’ve been confronted with the challenges of phlebotomy skills, front office skills, balancing checkbooks, and doing accountant work. I am very happy that I decided to attend UMA because they have always helped me through whatever problems I’ve had. Whether it’s from hurricane support or emotional support, they’ve always been there for me. My advice to any new student going to UMA would be to keep your mind wide open, because you’re going to be presented with many opportunities, and you’ve just got to take a risk sometimes, but there’s always going to be good new doors to open. My name is Angelica, and I am UMA.
