Hello, my name is Cynthia. I just wanted to say a little about UMA, they are FANTASTIC! I was very leery about starting school again at such a late age, but I’m glad I did. I am a 48-year-old single mother of 3 grown children and 1 grandson. I am currently on social security because of my bad health situation. I have been determined to beat it and go back into the work force. I am too young to curl up and die, so I decided to better my life and get some more education in the medical field that I have worked at in the past. However, I will be front lines this time as I am taking a Billing and Coding Specialist class. I absolutely love it! I am doing super in all my classes and I owe a major part of it to this school. From the very start I have had so much support from so many people and departments. They all want nothing but the best for you and they show it! From the admissions department, financial aid, teachers, coaches, it’s just an amazing place to go back to school. So if anyone is out there “thinking” about going back to school but think you can’t or your too old…think again!! It’s the best decision you’ll ever make. Thank you UMA!
