Employee Resource Groups
Employee Resource Groups (ERG)s are UMAE team member led groups that establish a community united around shared experiences and opportunities to learn. ERGs bolster UMAE’s mission and enrich the team member experience by providing support, building awareness, and fostering inclusive communities.
These groups are open to and welcome all team members, regardless of identity, and allow us to connect with others or simply find a space to support each other while gaining a better understanding of different experiences. Our Employee Resource Groups provide the opportunity to interact with coworkers to have discussions about meaningful topics.

BOLD
Black Originators, Leaders, and Developers
The mission of Black Originators, Leaders, and Developers (BOLD) is to champion the enrichment and success of all team members through cultural awareness, community engagement, and opportunities for learning and innovation. BOLD is open to all team members.

PAW PRIDE
PAW PRIDE’s mission is to support and educate UMAE’s team members year-round on topics that affect the gay and lesbian experience. PAW PRIDE is open to all team members.

WIN
Women’s Information Network
The Women’s Information Network (WIN) mission is to serve as a resource to the organization to positively influence the culture, provide opportunities to interact with coworkers, and support an inclusive working environment that considers the feedback of team members. WIN is open to all team members.

ZEN DEN
Mental Health and Wellness at Work
The Zen Den's mission is to champion the enrichment and success of all professionals impacted by mental illness challenges through awareness, community engagement, and opportunities for learning and innovation. Zen Den is open to all team members.

MINDS AT WORK
Neurodiversity in the Workplace
Minds at Work aims to attract and retain talent through awareness, education, and resource sharing regarding neurodiversity in the workplace. Minds at Work is open to all team members.

Events
For Team UMA, we host monthly guest speakers to bring awareness to the varying identities and perspectives in our global community. Team members are invited to learn and discuss the topics with their colleagues and use their heightened perspectives to encourage inclusion in their everyday lives.
Community Involvement
At UMA, we believe Care Pays Back and that’s what we do through our community efforts. Through youth mentorship, volunteering to serve marginalized community members and partnership with local resources, we do our part to help positively influence the lives of others.
