Wellness Tips: Facing Financial Uncertainty

Emergency circumstances such as losing a job, or even exciting life changes such as having a child can set finances off balance. Fortunately, there are measures that can offset times of economic uncertainty.

What Can You Do?

Some precautionary measures you can take include: Cutting back on non-essential purchases; building an emergency account with at least three months of pay; couponing, and supplementing income with overtime, or a second job, are just a few of the ways you can potentially ease your financial stresses.

Safety Is a Priority

Keeping your financial health in check can be as easy as knowing how to identify a con artist, or scam.

Email scams, better known as “phishing,” are a common vehicle for swindlers. Here, we include tips on how to avoid consumer scams and online fraud, as well as guidelines on how to identify a phishing incident.
