AAPC Approves UMA’s ICD-10 Training Series for 10 CEUs

Tampa, Florida, September 21, 2015 – Ultimate Medical Academy’s application for continuing education units (CEUs) for the “Introduction to ICD-10-CM Training Series” has been approved by the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC). Graduates of UMA’s Medical Billing and Coding programs who are Certified Professional Coders (CPC) will earn 10 CEUs at no cost by completing the training by January 31, 2016.

“This is a great opportunity to support our alumni by offering them no-cost CEUs,” commented Amanda Smith, Dean of Curriculum at UMA. “We updated our ICD-10 content for our current students and felt it natural to share the training with our graduates who have gone the extra step and became certified.”

Graduates of either the Medical Billing and Coding diploma or the Associate of Science in Medical Billing and Coding programs are eligible to earn the CEUs. For more information, visit ultimatemedical.edu/icd-10-CEU.
