Ultimate Medical Academy to Host Employer Partner Healthcare Career Fair for Hundreds of Recent Graduates on March 29 in Tampa, Florida

TAMPA, Fla., March 27, 2019 — To help fill the healthcare skills gap in the Tampa Bay area and across the nation, Ultimate Medical Academy is hosting an employer partner healthcare career fair for hundreds of UMA online and Clearwater Campus program graduates coming from as many as 42 states attending Spring Commencement this weekend in Tampa, Florida.

“UMA is pleased to work with our employer partners to host a career fair for our graduates coming to Spring Commencement,” UMA Senior Vice President April Neumann said. “Not only does UMA help train healthcare workers, we help match them with healthcare employers and work to ensure our curriculum equips our graduates to meet the changing and growing needs of healthcare providers in Tampa Bay and across the nation.”

More than 200 UMA graduates and others have registered to attend the UMA Healthcare Career Fair, which will feature 25 healthcare employers who have job openings across the United States. Employers include: Addison Group; BroadPath Healthcare Solutions; Change Healthcare; Cielo; CiOX Health; Concentrix; CVS Health; EpiSource; Express Scripts; Fast Track Urgent Care; Firstsource; Florida Medical Clinic; Fresenius; GetixHealth; Grifols; Guidant Global; Judge Healthcare; Lincare; LiveOps; Matrix Medical Network; Maximus; ScanSTAT; ScribeAmerica; Sykes; and Teleperformance.

At the Healthcare Career Fair UMA graduates will have an opportunity to meet with UMA Resume Writers, Interview Prep Specialists, and Career Services Advisors to prepare for their sessions with the UMA employer partners. Graduates will also have an opportunity to acquire business professional clothing donated by the UMA administration, faculty and staff.

“We know how important it is to be interview ready,” Neumann noted. “We want our graduates to be fully prepared with the technical and soft skills and to dress for success as they pursue healthcare career opportunities in their field of study.”
