UMA Comes Together to Support OneOrlando
In the wake of the tragedy at Pulse Nightclub in Orlando, employees at Ultimate Medical Academy joined together to offer donations to the city’s fund, OneOrlando.
Some employees donated individually, while others pulled together with their teams to set up donation boxes. Employees offered what they could, from a couple of dollars to hundreds, and all donations within the weeklong drive were matched by Ultimate Medical Academy.
In total, employees donated over $1,200, which UMA matched for a total donation of almost $2,500.
The OneOrlando Fund supports the families affected by the recent event in Orlando. To make your donation, please visit OneOrlando.org today.
“Hate may have visited our community,” Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer said in a statement about the tragedy. “It’s taken the lives of innocent people. It has shaken us to our core and broken our hearts. But hate will not define us. And hate will not defeat us. Because we are One Orlando.”
UMA is #OrlandoStrong.
