UMA Earns Health Information Technology Program Accreditation from CAHIIM

Tampa, Florida, November 3, 2015 – Ultimate Medical Academy is proud to announce that they have earned CAHIIM accreditation for its Associate of Science in Health Information Technology (HIT) program. Seeking accreditation by the Commission on Accreditation for Health Informatics and Information Management Education (CAHIIM) is voluntary and signifies that a program has undergone a rigorous review process and has been determined to meet or exceed the standards set by the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA).

“Not only was earning the accreditation a huge achievement for UMA, it benefits prospective students as they search for a HIT program which meets quality standards,” remarked Yvette Jimmerson, Program Director of Health Information Technology at Ultimate Medical Academy. “Students learn relevant curriculum in the classroom so they can be valuable employees once they begin their careers.”
