Ultimate Medical Academy Recognizes 83 Students Becoming [object Object] Honor Society Members

Tampa, Fla., September 17, 2020 – The Online Campus of Ultimate Medical Academy, a non-profit educational institution with the mission of equipping and empowering students to excel in healthcare careers, is recognizing 83 students as its newest members of the prestigious Alpha Beta Kappa (ABK) National Honor Society. By pursuing careers in healthcare, these stellar students are helping to meet a rising workforce need. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics projects that 12.5 million workers are needed to fill new and open healthcare positions in the decade leading up to 2028.

“UMA is delighted to recognize these students for their academic achievements in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic,” said Geordie Hyland, Executive Vice President. “Their success is a testament to their dedication to their coursework and their commitment to joining the healthcare industry at this crucial time when the importance of skilled professionals is highlighted daily.”

ABK recognizes students who achieve at least a 3.85 CGPA and complete at least 30 credit hours. UMA’s Online ABK honorees are enrolled in or have recently graduated from diploma or associate of science degree programs to help prepare them for careers in the allied healthcare industry.
