April Neumann

April Neumann is Executive Vice President of Workforce Transformation at Ultimate Medical Academy. She leads the integration of several key departments and functions at UMA including Education, Career Services, Continuing Medical Education, Workforce Development, as well as oversees new program and grant development efforts and implementation excellence. Neumann has played a major role in numerous strategic initiatives during her 12-year tenure including her impact on UMA’s placement efforts, launching the Corporate Alliance initiative that placed more than 2,961 graduates of the 2021-2022 cohort with employer partners across the country. She also led the growth of an online externship program with more than 22,000 national locations, and serves as the Executive Lead for UMA’s Vision 2025 strategic transformation effort.

Neumann is on the Board of Directors for CareerSource Tampa Bay, the Workforce Development Committee of the Tampa Bay Chamber, on which she served as the Chair in 2022, and the American Heart Association's Tampa Bay Heart Walk Board. She was recognized by the Tampa Bay Business Journal as a member of its 40 Under 40 Class of 2019, honoring the most influential young people in Tampa Bay business.

Neumann holds a Bachelor of Arts from Northeastern University.
