How do I get a replacement UMA student ID?
If your UMA Student ID has been lost or damaged please contact your Learner Services Advisor at 888-216-1667 to request a replacement.
How will my ID card arrive?
ID Cards are sent via regular mail, in a #10/standard size envelope.

Shipments are not trackable at this time.
Is there a cost to obtain my ID card?
No, ID cards are provided to all active students at no additional cost.
Do these ID cards work as credit/debit cards?
No. These are for informational purposes only and cannot be used for financial transactions.
Do these ID cards include personal information?
Only your name and ID number are printed on these cards. No other information is included.
Can I include a picture on my ID card?

May I use this ID card as an official form of identification similar to a driver's license, passport or military ID?
No, these ID cards are not a form of official government identification.
What if a store or organization refuses to honor my student ID card?
Unfortunately, each individual business or organization decides whether they will provide you a discount when you show your ID.
When will I receive my ID card?
Please allow 4-6 weeks from the day of your third class. If you withdraw or cancel your enrollment, and then restart, the shipment of your ID will also be delayed.
What happens if I didn't receive my ID card and it's been more than eight weeks since the first day of my third class?
The most common reason students do not receive their ID cards is because they have the wrong mailing address (or it’s incomplete, such as missing an apartment number). You should call your Learner Services advisor at 888-216-1667 for further assistance.
What if information on my ID card is incorrect?
The ID card is based on your official student record. You must call your Learner Services advisor at 888-216-1667 to update your information FIRST. Your Learner Service advisor will also assist with requesting a replacement ID card.
