Don’t Give Up on Your Journey: Keep Pushing

I was scared and nervous at first, and what made me come [to UMA] is the support. They’re amazing! My learner advisor, they really pushed me, they really helped me, and I appreciate it. I have came a long way to become the woman that I am today. I’ve been through some trials and tribulations in my life, and I feel like UMA has kept me on a path to not make me wanna go back to my past journey. Don’t give up on your journey, keep pushing, don’t never let nobody tell you that you can’t do it. It really doesn’t matter how old you are — go to school, get a career, make something of your life. Don’t never let anybody tell you that you cannot do it, because I did it, and if I can do it you can do it.
