A Single Mother's Balancing Act

I’ve been wanting to go back to school, and I wanted to do it for my kids. I wanted to show them no matter how long you stop form going to school, you can always pick it back up and finish. I will tell anybody to choose UMA because it was a good feeling, like a big old family, and that’s me — I’m big on family. They made me feel like I was a part of their family.

They were calling me almost every day, checking in, making sure that I was on top of my work, congratulating me on my grades, because my grades were my main thing, and that was my motivation.
